Job Description: Job Summary
Responsible for the Operations accounting/ financial planning functions. Primary role is to support the Operations group by driving fact-based decision making processes.  Perform insightful analysis to drive cost improvements by doing analytical, oral and written, teamwork and organizational skills understanding the broad manufacturing perspective and the financial processes that support it. 
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting the budgeting/projection process for manufacturing 10 §  Support the S&OP process 10 §  Maintaining the systems (ZIP and TM1) that support the budgeting/projection process 10 §  Change annual standard cost and maintain other cost as required 10 §  Managing the accounting for inter-company Profit in Inventory Elimination (PIE) 30 §  Prepare monthly journal entries, accounts reconciliation and inventory transaction accounting
Analyze manufacturing variances, scrap, MUV and PPV
Other Ad hoc reports as assigned
Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) § Demonstrated strong communication (oral and written) skills § Ability to be key business partner with operations and logistics managers.

§ Understands the basic manufacturing accounting processes..

§ Demonstrated characteristics of high potential for future development opportunities.
§ Computer literate; intermediate to advanced Excel and Access required.
§ Knowledge of information systems and their application to Finance.
Education/ Experience Requirements
§ B.S. in accounting, finance or related field. MBA preferred. 4-6 years of experience required in finance or accounting. CPA/CMA preferred.
