Job Description: Job Summary
Responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of sterile and non-sterile packaging systems for all company product lines. Provides project management for support of new product introductions, line extensions and external development alliances.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
§ Generating and issuing required product labeling, package inserts and package graphics
§ Involved with the labeling and specification system and Local Language Labeling system
§ Complies with international standards.
§ Interfaces with Product Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Strategic Sourcing, outside vendors and hospital personnel.
Expected Areas of Competence (i.e. KSAs) § Effectively manages multiple priorities with high quality expectations in a team-based environment.
§ Actively participates in development meetings with assigned development teams.
§ Ability to effectively work within a team to expedite completion of critical project tasks with other functional groups.
§ Helps identify customer packaging requirements.
§ Good communication, teamwork and organizational skills are essential.
§ Microsoft Office Suite and Project.
Education/ Experience Requirements
§ B.S. in packaging engineering, mechanical, or industrial engineering plus 3-5 years experience in medical device packaging and labeling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
